●愚人节的起源●
愚人节，又称万愚节
较为普遍的说法是起源于法国。
这是一个很有趣的故事：
1564年，法国首先采用新的纪年法—“格里历”（英文： Gregorian Calendar，即公历)，以1月1日（元旦）为一年的开端。 在此之前，欧洲各国都是采取以4月1日作为新年开端的历法。

在“格里历”的推行过程中，保守派拒绝新历，继续沿用旧历。他们依旧把4月1日视为新年伊始，并组织庆祝新年的活动。改革派则对保守派大肆嘲弄，称他们为“愚人”，甚至有人在4月1日给他们送假礼物，邀请他们参加假的庆祝晚会。他们把这些上当受骗的人称为 April fools（四月愚人），后来4月1日就变成了“愚人节”（ April Fools' Day）。
在法语中，“愚人节”的说法是 Poisson d'Avril，翻译成英语就是 April Fish（上钩的鱼）。
